Its the Airline Tax... nobody can afford it...

Governments should be ashamed... always bleeding us dry and we barely have a choice in where it goes 1/10 of the time time!

Okay, now that I've done my rant, I will have a Dr.Pepper with Absolut Citron

Yeah, everything here was ok, but i live next to a park with 100m tall gum trees, so it was a bit treacherous, the neighbours corregated iron roof on their pergola kept lifting off (but was still attached at one end) and I kept thinking "omg".

There was a few bushfires yesterday and 7 houses in Sydney burned down- we always have heaps of problems with arsonists, yesterday was 32 degrees (around 90 farenheight) and the wind was so furious, we had dirt 6 feet into the kitchen which came in under the back door!!! One poor man was riding his moutain bike in a place called Kanagroo Valley which is about 2 and a half hours south of sydney when strong winds knocked down a tree and killed him.

But it's all good today- nice gentle breeze and temps a much more hospitable 23 degrees!!

Sounds like you had quite the day!!! I'm glad your okay :)

Do you know what the windspeed was?  The only time I've seen major wind live (not on TV) was in a Hurricane and Tropical Storm here in Florida.

I don't know. It was pretty fast but!!! Had to have been 50-60km/hr? Not too sure but. I think cyclone (hurricane) speeds are around the 100km mark- but then I'm not sure..

Sure Noj *hands pint over to my buddy* how are you?
